Wednesday already. As
usualMonday and Tuesday were crazy. Monday I worked then went to
Austin to visit the University of Texas chapter of Alpha Xi Delta.
Yesterday I took off of work so that I could deal with Texas State
Alpha Xi Delta stuff all day. And since I was off all day I took the
opportunity to use my spa gift certificate for a manicure and pedicure
at Salon David in the morning.
Fabulous.
Everything
went very well at Texas State as I introduced the new advisors to the
women of the chapter. They cheered….they are so ready not to see my
face every week. Me too. Now I won't have to go there 23 times per
week!!

I
got an update from my mom this morning. My Dad had knee surgery
yesterday. Not to remove the random shard of metal that has been there
for years, but rather to repair some other damaged part. She sent me
this picture. He is doing good.
