Project 365: The 29th and 30th week

Out with the neighbors

Sea World

My scrapbooking day

How we say goodbye to our neighbors – by standing on them.

Angela and I were poolside paparazzi. Other than that I have no idea why I’m making that face.

Michael Buble totally rocks.

Summertime = always having swimsuits to wash

E is a banana eating fool. He eats 2-4 bananas a day!

Small group with all ladies and 1 guy (Danny) meant Danny got kid duty. He picked a watermelon from their garden and they all ate it.

Kids get Oreos for a evening treat and I make myself a smoothie. I’m totally addicted to them right now.

After days of being hounded by the kids to go meet the new neighbors I finally was awake enough and showered by 7pm to make an appearance (with Rice Krispy Treats). 9 yr old Grace and X have been together every day since. What an amazing blessing to have a friend 2 doors down.

Making chocolate covered strawberries for our Small Group Leader party Friday night.

Making brownies for our cookout with our other neighbors Cindy & Russ Saturday night.

Flat Ironing X’s hair in preparation for the photo shoot the next day. This was taken by X (along with many others) via remote.

Awesome shot that doesn’t work anywhere else other than as a POTD because of my lack of backdrop.

I accidentally washed my (precious) camera remote. I couldn’t get it to work at first but after drying out all day I was so pleased to know that it was alive and kicking!

I vote this picture to possibly be the “picture of the year”. This boy WILL NOT stay in his bed all night long. Every single night he comes down and tries to squeeze into our bed or sleeps on our floor or just stands by our bedside and demands we get him OJ and turn cartoons on (at 4am). It’s really getting old.

My new method of threatening is that I will take him to MiniTexans (the daycare) at 6:30am-when they open-if he has woken me up in the middle of the night. So far this threat has seemed to work. Last night Ryan fell asleep on the couch and I found E sneaking into my bed at 5am. All I had to say was, “do you want to go to school at 6:30am?” and he fled from my bed as quick as he could.

365: The nineteenth week

A not so exciting Saturday (and not having any memory cards downstairs) meant snapping off a quick picture on my phone before leaving for work.

A sick E meant a not-so-exciting Mother’s Day.

Enough said.

The second picture taken with the 7D (in my bathroom).

After putting the kids to bed Ry and I sat outside and watched a cool storm roll in as the sun was setting.

A little Pinochle with Mark & LeAnn before work.

Out on my hot date with my other half.

365: The seventeenth week

Fredericksburg 10K

First swim of the year.

Weekly library trip.

The moon as we left small group. Somehow it was the only picture I took all day.

Normally Friday is laundry day. I was a an entire day ahead schedule this weeek.

This picture is for my dear friend KetchupJars. This was at a dinner celebrating the success of the BIG HUNT. Somehow only the ketchup bottle came into focus. I knew she’d like it.

365: The fourteenth week

The Big Hunt

Not a super photo but I adore their expressions. And the purple dresses.

I took X out of school and into the doctor because she had been complaining about an ear ache for days. There was absolutely nothing wrong with her. I’m not going to suggest that maybe she was making it up to get attention while all my attention was going towards the Big Hunt. It couldn’t possibly have been that.

Ryan and I went on an afternoon date to Barnes & Nobles. Picked up this little book to start planning our September trip.

Wednesday was the 4th Annual Jelly Jars day to celebrate Kara’s birthday. We ate breakfast (instead of lunch) at Cracker Barrel and shopped for several hours at the Outlets in San Marcos. [She's holding the banana because it was in my car from X that morning and I was going to throw it out and I asked her to hold it for me so I could get my purse and camera across my shoulder. It struck us as very funny.]

Ryan and I chaperoned the Second grade field trip to the San Antonio Zoo.

X had a friend over to play Friday afternoon (school was out at noon). I love how much her and her friends enjoy playing with E. They don’t (yet) consider that annoying little brother. Here X is spinning them in the rolling chair. I think she’s about to laugh as they crash into the wine fridge.
