I'm going to pick up all my edited pictures from "A Week in the Life" today. While I've been using ScrapbookPictures for my printing lately, I wanted these now…so I used Walgreens. Which ultimately means I have to go to Walgreens on my day off if I want them today. Which I do. So I'll go.
Here's a couple of my favorite I never got to post. (In no specific order)

Getting ready for a nap.
This is E's "fishy" face.
Michael giving E a good morning kiss.
Handing out popcorn for Saturday's movie night (Madagascar 2). And I'm stretching because there were toys all over the floor between me and the couch!
Ian and Ryan bringing coffee back to our small group play-date.

Stinkin' adorable.

Kara, Barb, and me at Real Life Scrapbooking.

More of the coffee….isn't it beautiful?

It appears as though I spelled my name wrong in my rush to get to the cafeteria to have lunch with X.

I think it's time to retire that shirt of Krys's…maybe just a tad too small.

Krys in "timeout" for not telling us she needed to go to the bathroom and peeing her pants at the playground.

I call this: Divide and Conquer.

As every year has gone documenting an entire week….by the time Sunday rolls around I am tired of documenting. Tired of carrying my camera everywhere and making mental notes that I'm sure to forget.
Luckily for me, I had someone who was more than willing to take pictures with my camera yesterday! Catherine (one of my former interns from Medical) and her husband, Albert, came over for dinner and to discuss blogs, cameras, and other cool stuff.

The kids ate dinner with us and were amazing! All of them ate extremely well, they listened to our discussion of pharmacy school, medical school (Albert is in his 2nd year of Med school), and random Walgreens stories, and went to bed super easy and quick.
Catherine hung out with me during the "bedtime process" taking pictures.
And I must say that she captured what it one of my favorite pictures of the whole week:

Those friends and family who've been in my house during bedtime probably know what I'm doing here. It's a nightly routine. What E calls "Rock Baby".
Essentially it's Rock-a-Bye-Baby but with a little more rock and a big swinging finale. We learned the little song & dance from our friends Tom & Natalie but adapted it somehow to be an after bath tradition. Which really makes it more funny since their naked little bodies are flaling around.
Oh, and the other key thing about "Rock Baby" is that its only a Mommy thing (since Daddy refuses to sing out loud).

Getting E to brush his teeth. Enough said about that daily routine.
*****
So, if you joined me last week – Congratulations on a completed week!
If you didn't get to, please choose another week and do it. Let me know when you are so I can call and harrass encourage you.
I've started working on the album already. My goal is to have it available either as a kit for people or at least provide a detailed list of what procucts used along with some downloads.
Seriously, as easy as possible for those who feel intimidated.

It's true.
People will look at you funny for taking pictures of all the randomness in your day. Hold fast. All of these semi-embarrassing moments will be worth it in the end when you can look at your completed week for years to come.
The beauty of having your camera with you all the time is you get to catch random moments that you generally take for granted.
For example:

This picture taken this evening speaks volumes to me.
1. The UPS man had just rang the doorbell to deliver a
package….the kids always race to the door to see who's
there.
2. The kids are always hyper before dinner….running around like animals.
3. E has a ball in his hands (very common thing)
4. Ryan is talking to his parents on the phone (trying to hear I'm sure as High School Musical was also blaring in the background).
5. The package was my new contacts that my fabulous friend Sam ordered for me; and I think to myself, "I should just save this money and get LASIK done again."
It's amazing how 1 picture can tell so many details of our everyday. Normally, I wouldn't look twice at this picture. But, for documenting my everyday life – it's perfect.
Here's a couple other cute pictures I got while documenting my day:
E loves his biscuits.

X diligently doing her homework.

Krys went to get her hearing checked this afternoon. She's showing me the stickers she got.

And finally, the first picture of the week with me in it. (The un-showered & still in my pajamas version of me)
