Good times.

As you may know……..I love coffee.

You may not know that Chocolate Raspberry anything is my absolute favorite. Additionally you may not know that back in March of 2005 while on a ski trip in Utah I found a Coffee Mate Chocolate Raspberry coffee creamer. It was the best thing I'd ever had in my life. I finished a big bottle on that 4 day trip. After I returned to Texas, I tried to find this delightful treasure I had stumbled upon in Utah. But alas, no where to be found.

I decided to write Coffee-Mate and find out where I could get some. (Yes, that is correct. I wrote to Coffee-Mate.) They informed me that the closest place was El Paso. Well, certainly, I wasn't going to make a trip to El Paso for coffee creamer……..but you'd better believe that when my friend Francie flew there for a quick visit (when we were living with her in 2006)–I totally had her bring me some back. Actually, I can't remember all the details but I think someone could have actually gotten the creamer from Albuquerque then gave it to Francie, who carried it on a cooler on the airplane, to give to me. 

Anywho–the details aren't important! The key was that I finally got some of my precious Chocolate Raspberry coffee creamer. I was in heaven. Heaven-I tell you. I know this is exactly what the Lord has waiting for me when I go home to Him one day. An unendless supply of hot coffee and chocolate raspberry creamer. 

So……..fast forward TWO YEARS! Two years since I've had a taste of this heavenly goodness.  Then, today, I find this in my inbox:

WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Oh my goodness. I can hardly stand the excitement.

And just who is the Jesus-in-disguise giving me a glimpse of heaven's splendor?

The one and only: Angela…….who coincidentlly is coming to San Antonio this weekend.  With the coffee creamer.

I'm not sure, but I think Summer is here in San Antonio. It was like 90 degree outside today.

I had to work this morning while Ry took the kids our to the annual neighborhood yard sale. I got a call around 9am, "How about $50 for a Kids Hummer"
I knew there wasn't anyway of talking him out of it. So now we own a Hummer. Ry says E loves it……it had to recharge all day so I'm sure we'll have pictures soon.

Today the Cool Cats lost another game. But there was  point when we were winning. It was a good feeling for everyone. Today was our last away game so hopefully the girls bring home a win at their home field next week. And amazingly……we have 0 photos of the game.

After we got home from the game I got out the pool that Grandma Newcom got for the kids for Easter. I couldn't wait to put E in his swim trunks. He was very unsure about the water at first. I had to get in the pool and hold him for about 10-15 minutes before he'd actually let go of me. X was loving it, acting like her normal dramatic self. Actually, I do believe that in several of these she was doing her "Dancing with the Stars" performace.

I think the pool will get quite good use this summer.

E has been doing some great things lately. His vocabulary is increasing. We now have "ball", a mumble close to "thank you",  "oops", "milk"…….all on a regular basis.

He's also shown some serious attachement to the Gap teddy. Which I love since we bought it for him the day the judge ruled to terminate. It must come with him to bed and when he gets out of bed everyday. The newest addition to this is the lamb that plays "Jesus love me". I can't remember who gave that to him (as the first few months of having him is a blur now). So if it's you…..please remind me-because we love it-thank you. 

We've also been noticing a lot of mimicking behavior. I love to see it….it's so much fun to watch him.

On a side note about E…….I had to buy new tennis shoes for him today because the old ones were getting to small. What a joy….certainly the highlight of my day.

Saturday evening we went to the Walgreens company picnic. We were kinda late for most of the fun stuff but the kids got to play James and Yvonne's kids. X loves being with the girls and E….well, he loves following them and acting like he's part of the group.

I wouldn't post pictures after every single one of X's softball game……I lied. 

E likes cheering for the Cool Cats too! 

We lost 6-0 BUT made some major steps of improvement! I think we'll rock tomorrow……
