The highlights of my day.
And talking to Angela on her birthday….that was pretty super too!
Today Mom Newcom and I went shopping. Big Surprise. I found lots of great stuff that I got pretty good deals on. That's the great thing about NYC….all the clothes are relatively inexpensive.
After regouping with the guys we decided to go see Le Mesirables tonight. Our seats were beyond fantastic. (Center stage, 7 rows back). And the show was 10 times more fabulous than I ever remembered. I was so good I cried. Big Surpirse. Ryan loved it too, which then made me love it even more.
We returned back to our hotel around 11 pmall dressed up and nothing to doso we headed back out to our favorite little piece of heaven on 58th St. Tao Restaurant. We discovered this place b/c of Sex and the City. They make the absolute best Cosmos EVER! I had two of them. Big Surpise.
Here's a couple favorite pictures from our day:

I feel like I'm living in the 80's!!
Starbucks in the Theatre district
Walgreens in Lincholn Square. We picked up Mom's Rx…super!

Ryan misread the boarding pass and we missed our flight. We will be spending most of our day in the airport.
Enough said.
Things are starting to look a bit different around our house…..

We have had such a great time shopping for and decorating with all of our “kids stuff”. The rooms are just about put together. Every time I look around I get chills of excitement. That could be fear that I'm passing off as excitement, but either way I love it!
I'm thankful for:
This Father's Day……this soon to be father painted a room for his soon to be children. And I must say, it turned out terrific!

Buttered Hazelnut is the color. I absolutely LOVE this color. We bought it last year when we moved in but never got around to painting the room with it.
If the room is for a boy….then I add blue, if it's for a girl….then I add dark pink. It's an awesome color combo (I've got scrapbook paper to prove it!)

Here's to my Dad!
